T he
more commonly seen grey squirrel is referred to by the Mitsubishi
Eclipse 2000 Commercial as being "More beloved than the rat".
We were told by DSM (a division of Mitsubishi) that this is because
squirrels have fur and fluffy tails while the common house rat is
not fluffy, but rather covered in a brown, scaly skin. We try not
to carry any racial preference to this site, but we feel that squirrels
do look poofier and therefore prettier, and, although we can't say
how, are significantly more important than rats. You also see more
squirrels than rats which, although insignificant, add to the growing
list of squirrel-sized advantages.
